We are the largest direct-to-consumer online wine business in the USA, shipping over 1 million cases a year (!) with plenty of growth and have ambitious growth plans ahead.

Our Analytics team works cross-functionally to provide analysis and insights that help us make better decisions as an organization. We go to work everyday to test hunches, question things that have “always been done that way”, and identify game changing opportunities.
We’re looking for a Decision Scientist to partner with our Growth, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to provide decision support aligned to our strategic roadmap and key value items. You will also independently surface actionable insights to help inform where we go next and build out a best-in-class reporting suite to support our data-led culture.

- Design, execute, and interpret randomized split tests or natural experiments
- Be passionate about helping to make a difference to everyday wine drinkers

- Are smart but humble
- Have demonstrable experience of doing this before
- Are highly skilled in communicating complex ideas to colleagues in other areas of the business
- Are a team player, enthusiastic and willing to get stuck in to a fast-paced environment
- Are highly proficient in Python or R (and their accompanying data analysis stacks)
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
- 3+ years experience as a decision scientist/data scientist/data analyst
- Fluent in SQL - you should be able to write queries in your sleep
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker and Tableau
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to independently frame a problem to find the right solution
- Ability to handle ambiguity and imperfect data
- Must be eligible on your own to work in the US to qualify. An employer sponsored work visa is not currently available for this role.
- Remote work is temporarily available under shelter in place orders. Must be able to commute to our Denver, CO office once restrictions have been lifted.
- $75,000 - $120,000 (Depending on Experience)
- Annual Bonus
- Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance - 90% employee coverage, 60% dependent coverage. Eligible Day 1.
- Holiday allowance - 34 days of paid time off, including 20 days of accrued paid time off (PTO) and 12 paid company holidays. Paid time off also includes your Birthday, plus one additional day for Volunteer Efforts.
- Retirement plan - 4% employer match. Eligible Day 1.
- Wine allowance - $40 a month towards your Nakedwines.com account
- Gym contribution - Up to $25 a month towards a gym membership
- Personal Pathways - the Company will pay up to $500 annually towards training on any topic and may be personally interested in pursuing (doesn't have to be work-related)
